If Goddess Saraswati is called as the 'Goddess of Education', then, our today's Birthday boy can be aptly called as the 'Lord of the Poetry'. No prizes for guessing as to we are talking about the one and only ageless wonder of the literary world as well as Bollywood…Shri. Javed Akhtar, who celebrates his birthday today.
Javed is one of the very few people in the tinsel town who has been immensely successful in multiple fields of work, including script writing, lyrics, poetry and also judging singing talents. A sample of his work can be seen in exemplary Bollywood classics like Zanjeer, Deewar, Sholay, Haathi Mera Saathi, Seeta Aur Geeta, Don, Trishul …to say the least. While on one hand, Javed was hugely responsible for giving Big B his on-screen Angry Young Man image, on the other, Javed is equally responsible for giving Bollywood it's much acclaimed all-rounder in the form of his very own son Farhan Akhtar, who is already 'Rocking' his way to the top. True to the saying, 'Like Father, Like Son', Farhan too, has been by and large successful in becoming the Master of all trades!
