Film sequels and franchises seem to be gaining popularity with each passing day. This year too there are many big sequels and franchises all set for release and eagerly anticipated by the audience. Bollywood Hungama's Nikhil Ramsubramaniam takes a look at some of Sequels and Franchises to watch out for in 2013.

Race 2

What's Same: The 'Sultans of the Suspense Genre' Abbas-Mustan are back with the sequel to one of their most popular films Race. Produced yet again by UTV and Tips Films, Race 2 retains 2 key members of its original cast- the suave Saif Ali Khan and Anil Kapoor who once again reprises his role as funny cop Robert D'Costa (RD).

What's New: Joining the Race 2 bandwagon are some interesting new members including John Abraham. Besides all 3 leading ladies- Deepika Padukone, Jacqueline Fernandez and Ameesha Patel didn't feature in the first film. Get set for more adrenaline packed action and thrills this Jan 25.
