Rajinikanth gets honoured by the Income Tax Department; Aishwarya Rajinikanth accepts honour on father’s behalf

A day ago, the IT Department celebrated Income Tax Day and decided to honour personas, who are not just high tax payers in the country but also prompt tax payers. Owing to the same, South superstar aka Thalaivar, Rajinikanth received the honour of being the highest and prompt taxpayer of the country. In fact, the actor was supposed to be felicitated at an event that was held a day ago. It was attended by his daughter Aishwarya Rajinikanth who received the award on his behalf.

Aishwarya Rajinikanth took to Instagram to share this good news where she posted photos of her attending the ceremony, of her receiving the award certificate and of her posing with it on the platform. She also expressed her pride in being the daughter of Rajinikanth by saying, “Proud daughter of a high and prompt tax payer ??? Many thanks to the #incometaxdepartment of Tamilnadu and Puducherry for honouring appa on #incometaxday2022 #onbehalfofmyfather.”

 

 

Needless to say, her posts was very well received by social media users who expressed pride in Rajinikanth and the way he promptly fulfils his duties as a citizen of the country. “Always super proud of our thalaivarrrr????,” said one fan whereas, “Proud to be ??superstar??fan,” said another. Best wishes and congratulatory messages too poured in from many fans who expressed pride in Rajinikanth receiving this honour.

 

On the work front, Rajinikanth was last seen in Annaatthe which also starred Keerthy Suresh, Nayanthara, Meena, Khushbhu Sundar, Jagapathi Babu and others in pivotal roles. The superstar is expected to next feature in the Nelson Dilipkumar directorial titled Jailer that is also expected to star Kannada actor Shivrajkumar.
