For Bollywood power couple Alia Bhatt and RanbirKapoor, the big day has finally arrived. As the couple prepares to exchange vows today, the mehendi ceremony for Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor's esoteric wedding in Mumbai officially started on Wednesday, with close friends and family in attendance. While we have yet to see Alia and Ranbir's trousseau, the groom's family's mehendi outfits proved that it was an incredibly elegant occasion.

Kareena Kapoor Khan picked a Manish Malhotra embroidered white lehenga set for her cousin Ranbir's mehendi ceremony. A richly embroidered sleeveless blouse with wide straps, a wide square neckline, elaborate sequined embroidery all over, a midriff-baring hem, and an open back with beaded adornments was part of the lavish ensemble. She wore the blouse with a similar ombre lehenga that faded into beautiful pastel pink and blue tones. Sequins, floral thread work, and Gota Patti work adorned the lehenga. She wore the Khaab ensemble, an intricate handcrafted Kashmiri lehenga set highlighted in three-tone sequins paired with a dreamy drape.

 

 

A zari dupatta embroidered with sequin work and gota embellished borders completed Bebo's lehenga. She had her hair half-tied in the middle and accessorised with diamond studs, a diamond necklace, and a gleaming clutch and pair of silver kolapuri wedges. With a dewy base, shimmering eye-shadow, sleek eyeliner, flushed cheeks, and nude lipstick, the actress kept her makeup simple.

 

 

As the clock ticks down for the wedding rituals, the Kapoor mansion has been lit up for the wedding, and pre-wedding festivities have already begun. Ranbir and Alia are getting married today, and the wedding will take place at Ranbir's flat in Pali Hills' Vaastu Apartments.
