Renowned for his passion for music, Luthria also expressed, “I have had the privilege of working closely with many wonderful talents in the lyrical world. My passion for music is well known, and sometimes I wonder how a lyric writer thinks. When this song was composed, I fell in love with its Sufi spirit. I suggested the first line as a “dummy” line for the composition to be completed. That night I wondered how to take the thought forward, and who to approach for lyrics. I fell asleep deeply surrounded by the melody. When I switched on my phone in the morning, I realized I had already written the song in my sleep! Must have “sleep written” it.”

 

The romantic tone of the song, sung by Javed Ali, perfectly complements the series it's a part of, 'Sultan of Delhi.' Choosing to release songs within an OTT series is a unique move, but it aligns perfectly with the vision of 'Sultan of Delhi.'
