Having tied the knot with her longtime beau and celebrity fitness trainer, Nupur Shikhare, Ira has been delighting her fans with behind-the-scenes moments from the celebration. In her latest Instagram stories on a Sunday evening, Ira treated her followers to a series of photos sharing the lighter side of her wedding.

 

 

One particular image showed a candid shot of Aamir Khan wiping away tears as he witnessed his daughter Ira signing her marriage document. Beneath the emotional tableau, Ira remarked, “The fake tears.... (real one coming soon).” Ira shared another photo featuring Aamir Khan and Nupur engrossed in laughter. Captioning the image, she humorously wrote, “The inappropriate comment made too close to the mic.”

 

For the unversed, Ira Khan and Nupur Shikhare registered their wedding in an intimate ceremony in Mumbai on January 3. The couple then had their wedding ceremonies in Udaipur, Rajasthan this week. Speaking of Ira Khan's grand wedding reception, it was held at the Nita Mukesh Ambani Cultural Centre (NMACC) in Mumbai. The event saw a bevy of celebrities gracing the occasion, including Nita and Mukesh Ambani, Salman Khan, Raj Thackeray, Dharmendra, Hema Malini, Jaya Bachchan, Rekha, Katrina Kaif, and many more.
