Bollywood actor Anil Kapoor’s commitment to his craft is once again in the spotlight as he prepared for his character Balbir Singh's body double, named Kailash, in the recently released blockbuster Animal. While the attention has largely been on Kapoor's iconic portrayal of Balbir Singh, an intriguing behind-the-scenes revelation shed light on the lesser-known aspect of his dedication.

In a newly released behind-the-scenes video from the film, it became evident that Kapoor went to great lengths to ensure authenticity in his portrayal of Kailash. The video captured Kapoor spending extensive hours behind a wall of latex and facial prosthetics to achieve the desired look for his body double character. This meticulous preparation reflects Kapoor's disciplined and methodical approach to his craft, a trademark of his illustrious 40-year career in the film industry.

 

Kapoor incorporated prosthetics as an integral part of his preparation for the challenging double role. The behind-the-scenes footage revealed the megastar donning a full facial mask, showcasing the intricate details involved in the transformation process. The transformation, although time-consuming, has proven to be a worthwhile endeavour for Kapoor, who expressed his gratitude for the overwhelmingly positive response to his performance. The behind-the-scenes glimpse not only highlighted Kapoor's dedication to his craft but also added another layer of appreciation for the effort invested in bringing the character of Kailash to life in Animal.

 

Produced by T-Series, Animal also stars Triptii Dimri, Siddhant Karnick, Saloni Batra, among others and released on December 1 in Tamil, Hindi, Malayalam, Kannada, and Telugu. Following the unveiling of post-credit scene, Sandeep Reddy Vanga also hints at making a sequel called Animal Park, which is also expected to feature Ranbir Kapoor.
