B.O. update: Great Friday as 'Aashiqui 2', 'Iron Man 3' open very well!

 

It's one of those rare Fridays when two films -- diametrically opposite in content -- have opened very well across the nation. AASHIQUI 2, which stars relative newcomers in principal leads, started with a bang at most screens. The opening and noon shows across various centres were strong, while the business at mass-dominated stations was witnessing an upward trend with each show.

IRON MAN 3, one of the keenly anticipated Hollywood movies, fetched a bumper start at several urban centres, while at other stations, was running neck to neck with AASHIQUI. The film is expected to notch an impressive total and might even set a record for Hollywood films, looking at the trends.
