B.O. update: Biz dips as new releases open poorly!

 

The two new releases -- THE ATTACKS OF 26/11 and I, ME AUR MAIN -- opened to below the mark response across the nation. I, ME AUR MAIN was slightly better at select plexes, while THE ATTACKS OF 26/11 was ahead in pockets of Maharashtra. What comes as a surprise is that the new releases are backed by reputed names/Studios and star well-known names in the cast, yet the occupancy was much, much lower than last week's KAI PO CHE, which starred relative newcomers in principal roles. However, the evening/night shows are crucial for these two films.

Meanwhile, KAI PO CHE is expected to dominate the domestic BO for the second consecutive weekend, as per early trends.
