War Box Office: The Tiger Shroff – Hrithik Roshan starrer becomes the 2nd highest all-time 1st Tuesday grosser
The Siddharth Anand directed Tiger Shroff – Hrithik Roshan starrer War released last week. After opening to a thunderous response from the audience the film continued to do business well into its first week.
In this box office report we take a look at the first Tuesday collections of War while comparing the same to previous releases till date. Collecting Rs. 28.90 cr War has managed to become the second highest all-time first Tuesday grosser. Though the business of War does not surpass the collections of Baahubali 2 – The Conclusion that drew in Rs. 30 cr on its first Tuesday, War has out beaten other releases like Kick that collected Rs. 28.89 cr, Simmba that collected Rs. 28.19 cr, Krrish 3 that collected Rs. 26.26 cr, Dangal that collected Rs. 23.09 cr, Sanju that collected Rs. 22.10 cr, Tiger Zinda Hai that collected Rs. 21.60 cr, Bajrangi Bhaijaan that collected Rs. 21.4 cr, and Dhoom 3 that collected Rs. 20.14 cr.
Currently, War that had managed to cross the Rs. 200 cr mark is expected to continue its stellar run at the box office. In fact, trade predictions state that the film is likely to reach the Rs. 250 cr mark by the end of the week.
