The Shahid Kapoor starrer Kabir Singh that released over two weeks ago has been going strong at the box office. Despite new releases hitting screens and the ongoing cricket world cup matches the business of Kabir Singh has remained stable.
In this box office report, we take a look at the collections of Kabir Singh on its third Tuesday while comparing the same to previous releases. Collecting Rs. 3.20 cr on its third Tuesday, Kabir Singh manages to become the sixth highest all-time third Tuesday grosser. Though the business of Kabir Singh does not surpass previous releases like Baahubali 2 - The Conclusion that collected Rs. 6.95 cr, Dangal that collected Rs. 4.03 cr, PK that collected Rs. 4.02 cr, Padmaavat that collected Rs. 3.75 cr and Uri - The Surgical Strike that had collected Rs. 3.39 cr; its third Tuesday collections out beat other releases like 3 Idiots that collected Rs. 2.82 cr, Bajrangi Bhaijaan that collected Rs. 2.63 cr, Baahubali - The Beginning that collected Rs. 2.6 cr, and Sanju that had collected Rs. 2.59 cr.
As of now, Kabir Singh that has raked in Rs. 243.17 cr continues to forge ahead at the box office. In fact it won’t be a surprise if the business of the film goes past the Rs. 250 cr mark in the coming few days.
