Box Office: Fast and Furious 8 becomes the highest Hollywood grosser of 2017 at the India box office

A couple of weeks ago we saw the release of the eighth instalment in the Fast And Furious franchise hit screens. Collecting Rs. 78.69 cr Fast And Furious 8 claims the top slot as the highest Hollywood grosser of 2017 in the domestic market. In fact the film manages to surpass other big ticket Hollywood releases that released earlier this year like Logan that collected Rs. 33.03 cr, XXX: The Return of Xander Cage that collected Rs. 31.01 cr, Kong: Skull Island that collected Rs. 22.58 cr, Beauty and the Beast that collected Rs. 17.63 cr, Boss Baby that collected Rs. 10.1 cr and even Passengers that collected Rs. 5.14 cr.

 

If that wasn’t enough, considering the fact that recent Bollywood releases have not been performing as expected at the box office, Fast And Furious 8 that still continues to enjoy the audience’s favour is expected to continue its run in theatres over the coming week.
