Box Office: Avengers – Infinity War becomes the 10th highest All Time opening day grosser

Avengers: Infinity War has done it. Said to be the most anticipated release of 2018 the film has taken off to a flying start at the Indian box office. Released across 2000+ screens in English, Hindi, Tamil and Telugu the film has managed to live upto both fan and box office expectation with an opening day collection of Rs. 31.30 cr.

Collecting Rs. 31.30 cr Avengers: Infinity War now ranks as the 10th all-time highest opening day grosser surpassing certain big ticket Bollywood films like Golmaal Again that collected Rs. 30.14 cr, Dangal that collected Rs. 29.78 cr, Bang Bang! That collected Rs. 27.54 cr, Bajrangi Bhaijaan that collected Rs. 27.25 cr, PK that collected Rs. 26.63 cr, Kick that collected Rs. 26.40 cr, Krrish 3 that collected Rs. 25.50 cr, and even the recently released film Baaghi 2 that had collected Rs. 25.10 cr.

 

However, on the other hand the opening day collections of Avengers: Infinity War do not manage to surpass other Bollywood biggies like Happy New Year that collected Rs. 44.97 cr, Baahubali 2 – The Conclusion that collected Rs. 41 cr, Prem Ratan Dhan Payo that collected Rs. 40.35 cr, Sultan that collected Rs. 36.54 cr, Dhoom 3 that collected Rs. 36.22 cr, Tiger Zinda Hai that collected Rs. 34.10 cr, Chennai Express that collected Rs. 33.12 cr, Ek Tha Tiger that collected Rs. 32.93 cr, and Singham Returns that collected Rs. 32.09 cr .
