Baby does more business in 2nd week than this week's new releases

 

Bhushan Kumar's latest release Baby starring Akshay Kumar received huge acclaim from both critics and masses on its release, last week. The film has been growing strength to strength ever since. Baby has now entered its 2nd week and the film has impressed one and all with its performance at the box office.

Looking at the 2nd week box office collections of Baby, the film collected Rs. 2.85 cr on Friday. On Saturday, the Akshay Kumar starrer showed a 40% jump and collected Rs. 3.99 cr. In comparison, this week’s 3 new releases lag far behind Baby in their box office collections. Where Khamoshiyan collected Rs. 1.92 cr on Friday and Rs. 2.21 cr on Saturday, Hawaizaada collected only Rs. 57 lakhs on Friday and Rahasya managed to collect only Rs. 6 lakhs on its opening day.

 

The quality content of T-series production's Baby seems to have attracted the audiences to the theatres even in its 2nd week and the film is expected to register impressive numbers in its total 2nd weekend collections.
