More on Tsunami victims and the film industry's contribution! With the aim to provide relief to the victims of the recent Tsunami devastation, Shringar Cinemas Ltd. has announced its 'Purple Aid' campaign in association with Aid India. As part of its ongoing 'Purple Ribbon' social initiatives, 'Purple Aid' will donate a sum of Rs. 2 from every ticket sold at the Fame multiplexes in Andheri, Malad and Nashik. The proceeds from 'Purple Aid' will go towards providing clothing, shelter, food and medication to the worst hit villages across the southern coast of India. At every Fame multiplex, collection boxes have also been set for donations of new clothes, blankets, dry food items, medicines and bed-sheets.
