Karan Johar's latest release Student Of The Year was like a box office risk that paid off and how for the producer director. With the success of the film, Karan has already decided on his next which will be a film based on the script that his father, Yash Johar, was working on.

The project is said to be a period love story his father, the late Yash Johar, had envisaged and researched on. Apparently, Yash had even spent three months in Lahore researching for the film, which has been with KJo for the past eight years. However due to the emotional attachment Karan has with the script, the film had till date never been made.

 

But now Karan who has set his heart on the project plans to fly out by the end of November to write the script and will start shooting the film by November next year.
