Great launch for 'Gr8!':

There are magazines galore -- mags for the family, on fashion, on films, for females, on food, for teenagers, on jewellery... Television has grown in status and stature and it's high time it got its due. Shashi and Anu Ranjan, the enterprising team behind several top-ranking television serials and films [their Sanju-Jackie-Raveena-Mahima starrer DOBAARA is currently on floors!], launched GR8!, a television glossy, at a lavish function on Tuesday, August 26 at Hotel J.W. Marriott, Juhu. The inaugural issue of GR8! was officially launched by several eminent personalities like Jeetendra, Rakesh Roshan, Manmohan Shetty, Javed Akhtar, Shekhar Suman, L.V. Krishnan [TAM India], Rajat Sharma, Siddharth Kak and T. Subbarami Reddy simultaneously. A one-stop platform for the entire television fraternity, GR8! is packed with news, fashion, fiction, music, life stories of television personalities... A monthly, the magazine will be distributed nationwide by The India Book House. Several dignitaries from the film, television and corporate world graced the launch. A 'gr8' launch, must say!
