British actor makes Bollywood debut

Imran Ali Khan, the budding young actor from Britain, is heading towards Mumbai to complete the post-production work on his debut film 'I' where he stars opposite Sohail Khan. The movie was shot in London in Summer 2003 and is being readied for release on Republic Day (January 26 2004). The movie is set against the backdrop of East London and tells the story of an Indian arriving in the UK only to experience first hand racial tension in the East End. Prior to this Imran made an appearance in Karan Johar's blockbuster Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham, in a cameo. Also he has been giving live performances in Bollywood star shows, Pakistani pop shows and cultural events for the past few years.
