Abhimanyu Singh attacked

Abhimanyu Singh, best known for his role of the charged Rananjay in Anurag Kashyap's Gulaal, was attacked while on holiday in Matheran. Apparently, Abhimanyu who was with family was assaulted by a group of goons on bikes who robbed them.

Abhimanyu was driving down to Matheran when between Panvel and Matheran, a few men on bikes started following them. Despite not stopping, one of the bikers overtook him forcing him to stop. When assaulted, Abhimanu fought of the initial attacks only to be confronted by a man wielding a knife.

 

It was then that people started to gathering around them, forcing the goons to ditch the plan and flee but not before the actor suffered knife cuts on his hands. However, Singh's ordeal didn't end there. When Singh drove on and decided to lodge a complaint at the nearby police station, apparently the cops took it casually, saying these things keep happening and dismissed the entire incident.
