In three days flat, Judwaa 2 has stepped into a zone from where it would now quickly move on from being a Hit to a Superhit. The film had another outstanding day in Sunday as it brought in Rs. 22.60 crore more. The David Dhawan directed affair has been performing at a different level altogether as the collections are in line with what Top-5 superstars of Bollywood bring in with their releases. Varun Dhawan is the youngest star that the Hindi film industry has today and the manner in which Judwaa 2 is currently doing, he is set to be heralded as a superstar now.
The film has collected Rs. 59.25 crore already and that is one of the Top-3 biggest opening days for a Hindi film in 2017. Before Judwaa 2, Salman Khan's Tubelight had brought in Rs. 64.77 crore whereas Shah Rukh Khan's Raees had collected Rs. 59.83 crore on their first three days. The fact that the Sajid Nadiadwala and Fox film is finding itself in this league says a lot about how audiences have given a big thumbs up to it.
There is so much that the film with Jacqueline Fernandez and Taapsee Pannu as the leading ladies will collect before it steps into the regular weekdays since today is the national holiday of Gandhi Jayanti. That promises around Rs. 17-18 crore more to come as the morning and afternoon shows would begin with a bang but in the night there would be an impact due to working day tomorrow. Still, that would be good enough for the film to go past the Rs. 75 crore mark in four days flat, hence emerging as a major money spinner in very quick time.
