Maatr is Raveena's film all the way. good to see her on the big screen, in the lead role. the story is about a mother n daughter who are gang raped, the former survives, while the latter is killed. the police is insensitive n indifferent. within minutes, the mother is consumed by 'badle ki bhavana' n she kills the criminals, one by one, without any support. the basic premise may seem interesting, but the weak n convenient screenplay ruins everything n the film turns into a routine revenge drama.

Maatr is a nice 1 time watch movie though we all knew the plot the movie dint stood up to the expectations which we had after watchinhg the trailer. The movie could have more impactful in many ways. All in all raveena tondon did a great job it was a pleasure to see her on screen after such a long time.
