Triptii Dimri shares a nostalgic birthday post with Sam Merchant amid dating rumours
Best known for her recent performance in Animal, Triptii Dimri seems to have become a major name in the social media circuit. With a massive spike in her followers, the actress’ personal life too has come into spotlight, and it seems that her love life has been garnering attention, especially after being addressed as a ‘national crush’. The actress is expected to be dating her long-time friend Sam Merchant and recently she was seen sharing a heartfelt and nostalgic birthday wish for him on social media.
Taking to Instagram, Triptii Dimri shared a post on her story wherein she shared a before and after photos, one which featured her with the birthday boy in 2017 and another one was a recent photo from 2023, as she wished Sam Merchant. In her birthday wish, she recalled one of the fondest memories she shared with Sam and added, “Happy Birthday @sam_merchant <3 wish we could be as thin again without having to skip Ram shaam pani puri”.
Triptii Dimri won hearts for her role as Zoya Riaz in the Sandeep Reddy Vanga film Animal, where she becomes a traitor by seducing Ranvijay but is actually the fiancé of Aziz Haque, brother of Abrar Haque. While the actress went on to be termed as ‘National Crush’ by many, she also was at the receiving end when she was trolled for her intimate scenes with Ranbir.
Speaking of her upcoming projects, Triptii Dimri is expected to share screen space with Vicky Kaushal in Mere Mehboob Mere Sanam, with Rajkummar Rao in Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Waala Video and will be reuniting with Ranbir Kapoor, Sandeep Reddy Vanga, and the rest of the team of Animal for the sequel Animal Park.
