Mumbai is all set to witness history in the making! The much-anticipated bilingual action-drama Dacoit, starring Adivi Sesh and Mrunal Thakur, is creating waves even before its release. The makers have announced a first-of-its-kind Hindi title logo launch in Mumbai, accompanied by the unveiling of the film’s teaser on December 18, 2025. This marks a significant milestone for the industry, as never before has a Hindi title logo been launched in such a grand manner in the city.

Adding to the excitement, the team is pulling off a two-city extravaganza on the same day. While Mumbai will host the Hindi teaser premiere, Hyderabad will simultaneously witness the Telugu version reveal, ensuring fans across regions get a taste of the adrenaline-pumping drama.

 

The buzz intensified on Monday, when the lead pair, Adivi Sesh and Mrunal Thakur, dropped a power-packed poster, officially announcing the teaser release date and the Hindi logo launch. The poster hints at an intense narrative, promising a cinematic experience that blends high-octane action, raw emotions, and gripping drama. With Anurag Kashyap in a pivotal role, the film is expected to deliver a fresh and fiery dynamic on screen.

 

 

Directed by Shaneil Deo in his debut venture, Dacoit is backed by Supriya Yarlagadda, co-produced by Suniel Narang, and presented by Annapurna Studios. The story and screenplay have been jointly crafted by Adivi Sesh and Shaneil Deo, ensuring a vision that resonates across languages. Shot simultaneously in Hindi and Telugu, the film is currently in post-production and is slated for a Pan-India theatrical release on March 19, 2026, coinciding with Gudi Padwa and the extended Eid weekend.
