KGF – Chapter 2 Day 2 (Worldwide): Yash starrer all set to cross Rs. 400 cr. gross at the global box office

The much talked about and keenly anticipated film KGF – Chapter 2 was released day before yesterday. Hitting over 10000 screens worldwide the Yash starrer featured the widest release of recent times. This wide release pattern coupled with the craze for the film has worked wonders at the box office. In fact, KGF 2 has managed to cross the Rs. 150 cr. gross mark at the worldwide box office in just one day.

On Day 1, the overall business of the film at the domestic box office was pegged at 138 cr. gross. This coupled with a further Rs. 26 cr. gross from the overseas markets, KGF – Chapter 2 has managed to collect Rs. 164 cr. gross at the worldwide box office at the close of Day 1. On Day 2, it added Rs. 122 cr. gross and Rs. 104 cr. gross on Day 3 to take the worldwide total to Rs. 390 cr.

 

As of now, KGF 2 is continuing its run at the box office, with little to no competition the film is expected to storm the box office register fast becoming one of the highest grossers of recent times. In fact, look at the craze for the film across the country, with certain locations featuring shows as early as 6 AM and special shows post-midnight, trade predicts a bountiful opening weekend for KGF 2.
