Urmila emerges as the big catch in the IT raids:

Urmila Matondkar emerged as the main culprit in the income-tax operation on film personalities which ended on Wednesday. Fixed deposits worth Rs. 4 crores were recovered from her. The raids have led to the seizure of Rs. 6.19 crore in the form of fixed deposits, jewellery & cash. At a press meet, the Union minister of state for finance said that twenty eight lockers have been sealed and they would be opened after a couple of days when the department starts processing the documents. He further added that these filmstars were leading a lavish lifestyle and had made benami investments in the names of their relatives, associates and secretaries. Unofficial sources said that Yash Chopra had confessed to the concealment. An IT official added that Aishwarya Rai broke into tears when her house was raided. Official papers were also found at Salman's house indicating huge remittances received by him for the stage shows held abroad.
