Ila's surprise birthday bash

Actress, model and veejay Ishita Arun threw a surprise birthday party for her mother, the extremely talented actress-singer-theatre personality Ila Arun, on Tuesday, December 23 at the trendy Triple At The Blue Bar, Lokhandwala Complex. The guest list was carefully hand-picked and only the near and dear ones were present on the occasion. Can you believe it, I was completely unaware of this party till the last minute? Ila laughs, Ishita made sure everything was planned to the minutest, before we arrived here. The guests danced to several Bollywood numbers and also to Ila's own renditions. The celebrations continued to rock till the wee hours, with Asseem Merchant of Triple At The Brew Bar looking after all the invitees personally.
