Freida Pinto to produce two English films

The last couple of years have only been speculative for the international star Freida Pinto with respect to her foray into film production. She was in India recently to launch the 'Girl Rising India' campaign (which also includes a documentary film to spread awareness about girls' education's importance).

 

Like her counterparts, Meryl Streep and Anne Hathaway, Freida Pinto, along with Priyanka Chopra, has lent her voices to the Hindi version of the documentary film.

Besides this, news also has it that Freida Pinto is working on two mainstream English films, both with women-centric stories and which will have a wide release in India. While the first film is expected to roll in March 2015, Freida's decision to act in these films remains undecided as of now.

 

When contacted, Freida's spokesperson confirmed the news.
