FIR filed against singer Abhijeet Bhattacharya by AAP Member

 

Abhijeet Bhattacharya has been receiving flak of late owing to his comments on social media. The singer recently got into a controversy for abusing a woman journalist on Twitter and now Aam Aadmi Party member Preeti Sharma Menon has filed an FIR.

 

The political party member Preeti has apparently registered a complaint against the singer-musician and pressed charges of defamation and outraging a woman's modesty. Talking about the same, Preeti Sharma further revealed about how Abhijeet abused her on a micro blogging site like Twitter when she brought forth his abusive ways with journalist Swati Chaturvedi to the Mumbai Police. She apparently had tweeted the nasty remarks made by Abhijeet by tagging the police commissioner on Twitter.

 

She also stressed on the need to curb such acts by celebrities who use indecent language, spread communal hatred and how they set terrible examples in the eyes of their fans. She asserted that the singer would definitely be punished for this obscene trolling.
