Vikrant Massey and Medha Shankr share special post as 12th Fail completes 25 weeks; Vidhu Vinod Chopra celebrates with kids

Based on true events, the Vikrant Massey, Medha Shankr starrer 12th Fail seems to have won hearts of everyone, from kids to senior citizens. The inspiring story continues to enjoy an uninterrupted run in theatres and is now celebrating its silver jubilee week. Along with the lead actors, Vidhu Vinod Chopra too shared a heartfelt post expressing his gratitude. However, apart from that we hear, that the filmmaker-producer also visited a small village to celebrate the success of the film with young children.

Sources reveal that Vidhu Vinod Chopra was seen interacting and enjoying his time with around 160 students where he taught them all the motto of his film being ‘Haar Nai Manunga’, to make them believe in themselves and never give up. Sharing his experience, Vidhu Chopra said, “I recently went to a small school in a village where there were around 160 children. To be able to go there and interact with them was the highlight of the day for me. Those innocent faces were filled with so much hope to make the world a better place for them. It was an honor for me to spend an evening with them, we even distributed some t-shirts saying ‘Haar Nai Manunga’ to them which brought a wide smile to their faces we couldn’t be happier."

 

 

On the other hand, the filmmaker also shared another post under the official social media handle of his production house wherein he captioned a note of gratitude saying, “#12thFail becomes the first film in 23 years to spend 25 weeks in theatres! We celebrated this #SilverJubilee milestone with an event with the team that made this movie a success! This remarkable achievement is a testament to the impact that a good story can have. Furthermore, Vikrant Massey and Medha Shankr also penned a similar note on their respective Instagram handles. While Vikrant wrote, “First film in 23 years to achieve this milestone… Thank you audiences for making our dream come true. YOU truly are responsible for making this happen”, Medha also added, “#12thFail celebrates its Silver Jubilee for an impressive theatrical run - 25 weeks and going strong! Here’s to all who have made this a cinematic triumph!”

 

 

 

For the unversed, 12th Fail is based on the life of IPS officer Manoj Kumar Sharma and also touches upon his journey with his wife Shraddha Joshi who is now an IRS officer.
