Sooraj Pancholi refutes rumours about being approached for Bigg Boss OTT; says, “I will never do a reality show”

Sooraj Pancholi is one name which was dragged into a controversy even before the star kid entered the world of films. The actor, in his early days dated Jiah Khan, who committed suicide and was embroiled in a legal case which reached a conclusion earlier this year. While the Hero actor got acquitted of all charges, there were rumours that certain makers wanted him to be a contestant in the reality show Bigg Boss OTT. However, the actor not only denied these reports but also asserted that he would never want to be a part of something like that.

In an interview with Bombay Times, Sooraj Pancholi clarified on the reports about him being approached for a reality show saying, “I will never do a reality show. I wasn’t approached by them either. It’s not something I would do even though I know it has a huge viewership”. He also went on to add that he wants to look forward towards his upcoming acting projects. “I lost out on acting opportunities in the past because of my travel restrictions and a sword that was dangling on my head.”

 

For the unversed, Sooraj Pancholi has been dealing with allegations made by Rabia Khan of abetment to suicide after her daughter Jiah committed suicide by hanging herself at her residence. The actor was also accused of homicide by Mrs. Khan but the charges were dropped followed by lack of evidence. After a decade, Sooraj was once again given a clean chit on the abetment charges due to lack of evidence, after an extensive CBI investigation on the case.

 

Expressing his happiness over the acquittal, Sooraj added, “The verdict has taken 10 long painful years and sleepless nights, But today I have not only won this case against me but I have also won my dignity and confidence back, it took a lot of courage to face the world with such heinous allegations, I hope and pray to God that nobody goes through what I have gone through at such a young age”. He also expressed his desire to be a part of a documentary, if one is made, as he would like to present his side of story to the world.
