B.O. update: 'Avengers' takes the lead, 'Tezz' dull

 

The Hollywood biggie THE AVENGERS took the nation by storm by fetching one of the biggest starts for a Hollywood film. In fact, the film was the first choice of moviegoers across the country, overpowering its Hindi opponent TEZZ by a big margin. The Hindi biggie, TEZZ, had a 25% to 30% start at several screens, which came as a shock since the film boasts of an A-list cast and action-based films, generally, are known to start with a bang. However, the opening at single screens was much better.

B.O. update: 'Avengers' takes the lead, 'Tezz' dull

 

Though the reports of TEZZ are decent, with its action scenes winning all-round praise, the film will now have to show a big jump in its business on Saturday and Sunday, if it has to leave a mark at the ticket window.
