Box Office: Tiger Zinda Hai records the highest day 4 for a Bollywood movie

 

On Friday last week we finally saw the release of the much talked about and keenly anticipated Salman Khan - Katrina Kaif starrer Tiger Zinda Hai. In this box office report we take a look at the collections of Tiger Zinda Hai on its fourth day, while comparing the same to previously released films that have shaken the box office window. Interestingly, Tiger Zinda Hai that raked in Rs. 36.54 cr on its fourth day, Monday at the box office has become the highest Bollywood fourth day grosser of 2017. Though preceding the film on the list is the previously released film Baahubali 2 - The Conclusion that had collected Rs. 40.25 cr on its fourth day running, it does not feature in the ranking since it was a Hindi dubbed release of a south film.

On the other hand, when compared to the list of all time fourth day highest grossers, Tiger Zinda Hai ranks as the second highest grosser. Here too, though the list is still lead by Baahubali 2 – The Conclusion, managing to rank about Tiger Zinda Hai is the 2016 Salman Khan – Anushka Sharma starrer Sultan that had collected Rs. 36.62 cr. However, a point that needs to be noted here is that, Sultan that had released on Wednesday July 6, 2016, effectively making its Day 4 as Saturday as compared to Tiger Zinda Hai whose Day 4 was Monday.
