Box Office: Raabta and Behen Hogi Teri have a low weekend

 

Raabta has seen a low weekend at the Box Office. The film accumulated only Rs. 15.93 crore at the Box Office and from this point on it becomes even tougher journey for it. The audiences didn't quite jump in on the day of the film's release and with word of mouth not really favoring it well, the collections stayed low on Saturday and Sunday as well.Box Office: Raabta and Behen Hogi Teri have a low weekend

 

When compared to some of the other releases of the year which have collected in the same range, this is how Raabta stands:

 

Naam Shabana - 18.76 crore

 

Rangoon - Rs. 18 crore

 

Raabta - Rs. 15.93 crore

 

Commando 2 - Rs. 15.90 crore

 

Phillauri - Rs. 15.25 crore

 

In this list, only Rangoon and Raabta are high budget films and rest have been made at relatively lesser costs. In fact Naam Shabana was the only film that at least manage to come close to the Rs. 40 crore mark. That was the bare minimum need for Raabta to even survive but that is not going to happen as the trending so far indicates further fall on Monday.

 

Behen Hogi Teri hasn't really managed good numbers coming its way right through the weekend. Even though the competition wasn't really there, it couldn't leverage much from that and stayed low. With collections around the Rs. 1.29 crore mark, it has managed to collect as much over the weekend as one expected from it on the first day of release.
