Box Office: Mom collects Rs. 26 lakhs in Week 5; total collections Rs. 37.22 cr.

 

The Sridevi starrer Mom, a power packed drama and thriller, did a decent job at the box office. Thanks to a positive word of mouth, this Ravi Udyawar directed film grew after a not-so-great opening and had a fine weekend. The first week collections stood at Rs. 23.80 cr. But thanks to its niche urban appeal and competition from Jagga Jasoos in second week, Mom’s collections in Week 2 were Rs. 9.23 cr. The film still managed to enter fifth week in a few major cities. It collected Rs. 26 lakhs in its fifth week, taking the total of the film to Rs. 37.22 cr.
