SRK receives Brand Laureate Legendary Award

Few years ago, Shah Rukh Khan was honoured the Malaysian honorary title of 'Datuk' in recognition of his contribution to the world of entertainment.

 

Now couple of days ago, King Khan took off to Malaysia for yet another special occasion. SRK attended Malaysian Prime Minister Tun Dr Mahathir bin Mohammad's birthday celebrations where the actor was also awarded the prestigious Brand Laureate Legendary Award for his contributions to the Hindi film industry and as India's foremost brand.

Excited at this honour, SRK tweeted, "Got honoured at Dr. Mahathirs function & a beautiful digital Koran.Now to India. Way i travel i could be the Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy."

 

Past recipients of this Brand Laureate Legendary Award include Ratan Tata, Nelson Mandela, Mark Zuckerberg, Michael Schumacher and Mohammad Yunus.
