Sansui Awards 2005 cancelled!

Although all the peace pacts seem to have worked out between the Nandys and SRK on the surface, there is a lot of simmering discontent running deep. What started as an ego hassle between Rangita Nandy, Karan Johar and SRK's wife Gauri has ended with the cessation of Sansui Awards. SRK was firm and had asked Sansui to choose between him or PNC. Meanwhile PNC the founders of the awards didn't want to go on with the awards without Sansui. To put an end to this tangle Sansui and PNC sat together and came up with a brilliant idea. The Sansui Award show will now become a live show; there will be no Sansui Awards 2005. As a face saving tactic, the award show will now be a star studded live show. Two shows will be held in Birmingham and Wembley on May 29 and 30, called Videocon live in concert. Videocon is the sister company of Sansui. The stars performing at the show are Shahrukh Khan, Salman Khan, Rani Mukerji, Lara Dutta and Malaika Arora Khan.
