Parents seem to be naming their children after character names of the stars in their movies or on the stars themselves. First it was the name Simran (the character played by Kajol in the movie Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge) which caught fancy of the parents. After the release of Kaho Naa Pyaar Hai, many parents have opted for the name Hrithik or Amisha.
