A new season of Kaun Banega Crorepati (KBC) will soon go on air. But the new quiz reality show has been a victim of a lawsuit filed by an advocate for misrepresenting the legal profession in one of the promotional ad campaigns of the show.

Advocate Nasir Ali has filed a complaint against Big Synergy Media Limited's MD Siddharth Basu, Amitabh Bachchan for being the host of the show and Multi Screen Media Pvt. Ltd's Secretary Rajkumar Bidvatka for ridiculing lawyers in the advertisement.
The court has fixed a hearing on August 23.
