An FIR was lodged against playback singer Abhijeet Bhattacharya on charges of public obscenity and outrage of modesty in July 2016 after Aam Aadmi Party leader Preeti Sharma Menon filed a complaint at the Cyber Cell. Preeti Sharma Menon confirmed this news of Abhijeet's arrest on Twitter today (26th August 2016). She informed that Abhijeet's phone was confiscated and was sent for forensics. Cops made Twitter order him to delete offensive tweets or shut down his handle. She also urged women to complaint against any kind of abuse they suffer. Must Watch!
