Satish Kaushik returns to stage

 

Satish Kaushik is back on stage. And this time Satish even sings on stage!

 

Speaking happily on his grand comeback to theatre Satish says, "My new play Mr & Mrs Murarilal premiered this weekend at Rangsharda (Mumbai) at 7.30 pm. I' m back on stage after four years. Before this I performed Salesman Ramlal directed by Feroz Abbas Khan for 14 years."

 

The opening was a resounding success. "We had a grand opening houseful, show...Subhash Ghai, Rishi Kapoor, Tusshar Kapoor, Bhumika Chawla, Sudhir Mishra, Vicky Kaushal, Tinnu Anand, Rahul Bhat, Suchitra Krishnamurthy, Meerra Chopra, Vandana Sajnani Khattar were among the packed audiences."

 

Mr & Mrs Muralilal requires Satish to be enormously energetic on stage. "I am singing and dancing in this play. In fact one song which is my introduction in the play is recorded in my voice. I sang for the first time in a studio."

 

Meghna Malik and Amit Pathak who, like Satish, are products of the National School Of Drama are Satish's co-actors in the play.
