Even while everyone was busy preparing for Holi celebrations on Tuesday, Anurag Kashyap underwent a surgery on his back. The director had been suffering from pain on his back for some time now.

Reports have it that while on one hand he was postponing the surgery till the theatrical trailer launch of Bombay Talkies, on the other, his choc-a-bloc schedule too was acting as a deterrent for him going in for the surgery. Finally, Kashyap underwent the procedure on Tuesday afternoon.
