Deservingly it is Mamta Sharma who has been voted by all of you as the Best Female Playback Singer this year. <BR><BR><br><p class=clear>&nbsp;</p>Mamta, who has won most of the popular awards for Munni Badnaam, was overjoyed when Bollywood Hungama broke the news to her about her winning this special award. She said, I am feeling on top of the world as this award is based on audience votes. Besides these being exclusive Music awards, it holds all the more significance to me. I am very happy. <BR><BR><br><p class=clear>&nbsp;</p>While Mamta emerged the winner in this category with 22% votes, leading playback singer Sunidhi Chauhan wasnt too far behind with her Sheila Ki Jawani bagging 20% votes. Interestingly, the winner and runner-up of last year namely Alisha Chinai and Kavita Seth do not feature anywhere in this years list of Best Female Playback Singers. </span>
