Raima Sen - Eklavya

Wish one sees more of Raima Sen. She has made her presence felt this year in films like Honeymoon Travels Pvt. Ltd, Yatra and Manorama - Six Feet Under but it was Eklavya - The Royal Guard which made everyone sit up and take notice of her at the beginning of the year itself. As Nandini, a mentally challenged Princess who is the lone witness to the murder of her mother in the hands of her father, she was impressive in those 4-5 scenes, which she enacted. Just like Ishaan (Taare Zameen Par) and Buddhi (Apna Aasmaan), even Nandinis interest lies in, what else but, painting! The only difference here is that her painting was colored with murder! The film was a disappointment at the box office though Raima may just get a chance to walk the red market if Eklavya - The Royal Guard covers some distance in the Oscars.
