Well, Shruti is a self-confessed dedicated Messhugah headbanger who takes fancy for black nail polish and army jackets! Man! This girl-turning-into-a- woman is really something! She not just writes her own songs, croons, jams with the tabla and piano, but has also performed at bigger venues than your mind can ever think, venues as big as Whiskey A Go Go, Hard Rock Café etc… to say the least. News also has it that she had almost signed on the dotted papers to star yet opposite the southern heartthrob Madhavan, which didnt quite come through, due to creative differences, which only means that the waiting time will be a bit longer for us to cherish the future superstar!

Image Credits and Copyright: Avinash Gowarikar for Verve
