Standing next to him is Sharda, a leading playback singer from that time and standing between them is Shankar. Shashi Kapoor would drop in during the recordings as he was close to Rafi. Rafi had a knack of adding an actors nuances to the song he sang, so he would always enquire about the actor on whom the song would be picturised on. It worked beautifully for songs like Yahoo from Junglee and Sar Jot Era Chakraye from Pyaasa.</span>
