<span class=normal>Rajnikanths stylish elimination in Giraftaar<br><br><p class=clear>&nbsp;</p>The same second hero better than first funda worked in Giraftaar as well where there was a third angle as well in the form of Kamal Hassan. However, the dancer angle to his personality meant that he would always be the third lead in this action film dominated by Amitabh Bachchan and Rajinikanth. Whatever Rajini did, he got seetis and taalsi for himself. But wait, this is no Tamil film; this is a Hindi film. So even if Bachchan has smaller screen time, it doesnt matter because ultimately film toh wahi close karenge. Which means that even though Rajini dominated the screen for quite some time, he had to die and make way for Bachchan. Rajinis death was stylish as well (unlike Abhisheks sudden halt in Dum Maaro Dum; a little too Hollywoodish for our taste); he did light a cigarette before he got blown away. We missed him but when Bachchan came back on screen, all was forgotten. After all THE HERO was back!</span>
