In its third week, Rohit Shettys latest film Singham, an over the top action adventure film has still managed to roar itself silly by aggregately collecting, an incredible seventy seven crores at the box-office. With this, it is notably implied that the makers and the distributors are laughing their way to the bank. Singham is a remake of the 2010 Tamil film that had Surya as the protagonist. The film revolves around a hardened cop Bajirao Singham played by Ajay Devgn who maintains peace in his village Shivgad, until a sinister powerful gangster Jaykant Shikre played by well known south actor Prakash Raj gets Singham transferred to wreak havoc in his life. But alas, the sinister gangster is no match for Singham who works around the system in his fight against evil. One of the biggest contributing factors that adds to the films success is the, visual effects and post-production executed by the notorious Pixion Studios. Headed by Naveen Paul, VFX Supervisor, the Mumbai based VFX house has delivered an astounding, 800 VFX shots in a span of forty days with a workforce of over 120 artists. Bollywood Hungama gets the creative people to bring you a behind the scenes visual effects making of Singham.
