A R Murugadoss, director of the original version is helming the Hindi remake and the stunning beauty Asin (also part of the Tamil version) will be essaying her part as well. Talented young actress Jiah Khan will be playing the other female lead. Music is by A R Rahman with lyrics by exceptional wordsmith Prasoon Joshi.
