Speaking about his role in Rakta Charitra - I, the actor said, Rakta Charitra - I has definitely been one of the most challenging roles of my career as I am playing a real life character (based on Paritala Ravi) who was actually alive in flesh and blood until a few years ago. I did a lot of research and reading on him and was quite blown away by the kind of person he was. He had Gandhian values but unlike Gandhi, he believed that violence was the only way to get things done. </span>
