This dashing young man made a dream debut in Subhash Ghais Pardes (1997) where he shared the screen with Shah Rukh Khan. In fact his innocent looks earned him a nomination for best supporting actor at the Lux Zee Cine Awards. All his movies after that failed to register any impact. Among them were Pyar Koi Khel Nahin (again with Mahima Chaudhary after Pardes in 1999), Krodh (2000) and a few more. Beetabi (1997) and Shyam Ghamshyam (1998) followed without much help and the Shah Rukh starrer Josh (2002) was his last noticeable film. After that his weight and some other factors proved his downfall. His last film Bharat Bhagya Vidhata (2002) sank without a trace.
